The process and understanding of Prefabrication date back to 1905. It is defined as the assembly of buildings or their components at a location other than the building site. This method minimises construction costs by economising on labour time, wages, and materials. Prefabricated units may include doors, stairs, window walls, wall panels, floor panels, roof trusses, room-sized components, and even entire buildings.

Let us just consider the difference between our Prefabricated Garden buildings compared with conventional bricks & mortar buildings.

The conventional method of building a house is to transport cement, bricks etc. to the site, and to construct the house on site from these materials. With one of our prefabricated cabins, only the foundations are needed to be carried out while sections of walls, floors and roof are prefabricated and, in some cases, assembled in a factory complete with windows and door frames transported to the site, lifted and assembled accordingly.

Prefabrication avoids the need to transport so many skilled workers to the construction site, and other possible restrictions such as a lack of power, lack of water and exposure to harsh weather.

Against the stigma attached to prefabricated houses that were erected to replace bombed out houses from World war 2, modern technology has brought about sensational changes in the complete prefabricating process that now provides top quality designs with stable and strong cabins that are not only eye catching but also provide excellent value.

Take a look and see how eye-catching and individual each of these buildings are. Whether you have a large garden or a small back yard, one of these delightful prefabricated garden buildings will immediately provide you with an immense value of satisfaction having brought your garden to a greater level of attraction.

The 10 most popular prefabricated garden buildings are shown here with dimensions ranging from 1.8m x 1.8m to 2.8m x 2.8m. Some have attractive offset pitch roofs with extra windows above for maximum natural light. Others have Pent flat sloping roofs and some have extended canopies

Our Prefabricated garden buildings represent the quickest form of assembly that produces both elegant and practical units for many different uses. Additional factory activity has been carried out to include the impregnation of the floor joists.

You will see how magnificent these prefabricated builings look with the added option of having them factory painted inside and out.
